Forsythia x intermedia  (Family: Oleaceae) Common name: Border forsythia Forsythia x intermedia is not to be excluded from our gardens no more. The photo shows a Forsythenhedge. The bush came only 1833 to Europe, it gives in the meantime many breed forms. From ecological view one must see the plants critical, since most sorts are avoided by insects. Result: As individual bush in the garden is ok, as a bloom hedge (photo) rather no!
