Alyssum montanum (Family: Brassicaceae) Common name: Sweet Alyssum, basket of gold, montain gold, Alyssum montain The photo (21.4.2002) shows the plant Alyssum montanum with yellow flowers.  A important variety of Alyssum montanum is Mountain Gold. The plant blooms April - June with masses of yellow flowers. Alyssum montanum prefers full sun and dry soil.
